Equitable healthcare for all is my passion

With a commitment to sustainability and equality, I aim to bring cutting edge and state-of-the-art healthcare to patients worldwide. My goal is to leverage innovation and research in order to deliver high quality clinical care to all those who need it, with a particular interest in cardiovascular and metabolic non-communicable disease.

About Me

My name is Rich Chaudhary, thank you for visiting my website! I am currently a cardiology fellow at Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard Medical School. Prior to that, I was an undergraduate student studying South Asia Studies at the University of Pennsylvania, a medical student at New York Medical College, and an internal medicine resident at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. I am based primarily in Boston but spend a significant amount of time in Mumbai, New Delhi, and New York City.

Professionally, I am passionate about caring for patients with a broad range of cardiovascular diseases. My clinical interests include interventional cardiology, cardiac critical care, advanced heart failure and transplant, mechanical circulatory support, and cardiometabolic health. Professionally, I have done a considerable amount of clinical research in these areas, as well as have worked in various roles in health services, health innovation and entrepreneurship, and population health.

I have spent time training at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences in Delhi and have worked at a healthcare delivery organization in Mumbai. I have conducted research projects at the Public Health Foundation of India, Harvard School of Public Health, Harvard Medical School, and Smith Center for Outcomes Research in Cardiology. I have held various roles in healthcare entities both in India and in the United States. I have also founded a non-profit organization based in northern India working on rural development, education, and healthcare.

Personally, I am passionate about community building and engaging in enriching experiences with my family and friends. I enjoy traveling, exercise, modeling, Hindi and Sanskrit literature and philosophy, and exploring the food and drink scenes wherever I go. I am also a trained Hindustani classical singer and have a deep appreciation for music.

Moving forward, I hope to bridge my passions of cardiology, population health, and health innovation into a career spanning between India and the United States. Aside from devoting time to my clinical training, I am seeking opportunities to further expand my knowledge about the business of healthcare and health entrepreneurship.
